After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your Alexandria city tour by exploring one of the main sources of knowledge in the ancient world, The Alexandria Library.
Visit the Library of Alexandria, Historians have always disagreed concerning who was the founder of the ancient library of Alexandria. Some claim it was Alexander the Great himself when he first established the city in the 4th century BC, while others assert that Ptolemy I or Ptolemy II established it in the 3rd century BC. What we are sure of today is that it was the greatest library in the world for quite a long time. The new library of Alexandria was established on the 22nd of October 2002 with the aid of the United Nations, with the number of books exceeding two million, it is now considered to be the fourth-largest francophone in the whole globe.
Then proceed to visit the Roman Amphitheatre, an archeological mission that was searching for the tomb of Alexander the Great unearthed in the 1960s unearthed the only example of the Roman amphitheater in Egypt.
